Within walking distance of Porthmadog, Gwelfa is an ideal self catering base from which to explore Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsula, and the rest of North Wales, with plenty to do for children and adults.

The house sleeps 5/6 with a double bedroom, twin bedroom, and single bedroom with additional pull-out bed suitable for a child.

Downstairs there is a lounge, dining room and kitchen. You can relax in the lounge at the end of the day which has a TV, DVD player and gas fire. There is a modern fitted kitchen, and a dining room with seating for 6 people.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and WC. There is a double bedroom, and a bedroom with twin beds. There is also a bedroom with a single bed and a 2'6" pull out bed suitable for a child. There is a bathroom with bath with electric shower over and basin and a separate WC.

Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels and tea towels.

The front garden is open plan with a bench and parking for 2 cars. The enclosed back garden has a patio and chairs, and there are views of the sea and mountains of Snowdonia beyond. Behind the garden there is a nature reserve. The garden is not suitable for young children to play in.
